The Solution Engineer must have a strong desire to leverage their technical and/or sales skills, including the ability to solicit business requirements, develop a technical sales strategy, configure and effectively demonstrate the solutions that address these requirements and provide business value.

Role Responsibilities

     Provide demonstrations of products

     Travel onsite to confidently display functionality and architecture (approx. 25-50%)

     Architect and diagram customer-specific enterprise integrations, based on the Salesforce platform and SAP

     Collaborate with Product team to deliver compelling demonstrations for current and upcoming technologies

     Understand the customer's needs, and establish the product as the best solution that solves the customer's integration challenges

     Build and present customized demos / Proof of Concepts utilizing products

     Convey deep understanding of the customer's technology as it pertains to Salesforce & SAP solutions

     Support sales in responding effectively to RFPs

     Support sales in gathering customer-specific functional/ technical requirements to produce estimates and SOWs


Preferred Qualifications

     Salesforce administration experience

     Development experience/Salesforce Certifications preferred

     Limited Knowledge of Microsoft .NET technologies

     Basic programming & development experience in web based technologies

     Detail-minded, diligent note-taker based on customer interaction

     Previous experience as a solution/sales engineer for a CRM, ERP, or integration company

     Demonstrated experience diagramming complex enterprise architectures

     Graphic design experience a plus


Minimum Qualifications

     Knowledge of related applications, relational database and web technologies

     Solid oral, written, presentation, collaboration and interpersonal communication skills

     Ability to work as part of a team to solve technical problems in varied political environments

     B.S. Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent work experience
